Piece - Dance (2012) 

The dance-performance piece explores emotional dependence and it’s effects on the mental and physical being. Starting point of the research is the emotional experience, that the two dancers Lisbeth Bitto and Sabine Heitzender shared and whitnessed, growing up in Upper-Austria in a strong patriarchal society. Inspired by the music of Jill Scott the two artists developed a dance piece which can be seen as a snapshot of their emotional emancipation. In their work they combine the vocabulary and dance forms of urban and contemporary dance.
